Julie gained a First Class Honours Degree in Fine Art in Context at UWE in 2001, a culmination of many years experience as a Professional Artist. "I paint what I like! Being very fortunate to be surrounded by the beautiful English countryside with its rich tapestry of nature’s wildlife, provides me daily with that option. My greatest joy is to see birds and animals going about their day unaware of my presence, then to witness the moment I am caught in their eye, that moment when they choose to fly or just slowly move along, deciding that I am only, after all, a guest who may, temporarily, share their space. I enjoy teaching and working in a wide variety of media, which allow me to explore and capture my inspirations."
