Born in London. My interest in art started in my primary school but did not take it any further as it was only treated as a hobby, drawing Disney characters and cartoon characters using acrylic paints.
It wasn’t until I was bought a watercolour paint set that I even thought about watercolour but after working with it for a while I found that I preferred this type of medium especially the effects it created. I am basically self- taught but I also take an interest in other peoples work and how they approach their style of painting. I used to like watching ‘Watercolour Challenge’, I have found artists such as Terry Harrison very helpful and have a collection of his books which I refer to for help especially for landscapes. My style is mainly for birds and animals as I seem to get to feel more for this subject when I am painting.
Whilst living in Stogursey, Somerset, Pam and I opened up an art and craft shop which eventually turned into Paint Pottery Studio and Gallery, this is where my art work really took off and was asked to do commission work, one of my first commissions was the painting of ‘Baby Tawny Owls’ which led onto other commissions for animals and birds.
We now live in Bulgaria and have brought our business with us hoping to expand it through the Internet as well as working through our small Studio here.
